Of the fifty states in the United States, only Hawaii has ever been ruled by a king. Therefore, it is only natural that the bronze statue of King Kamehameha has become a must-see attraction for tourists who come to Hawaii. Every June, Hawaiians celebrate "King Kamehameha Day". The number of flower garlands presented on the bronze statue of King Kamehameha becomes a scene, and some garlands are as long as 5.5 meters.Honolulu · 15.3km from Ahuimanu

Hidden deep on the Windward Coast, in the lush valleys of the Kolaw Mountains, the Valley of the Temples is the resting place of many Hawaiians. People of different sects are buried here, and the famous Byodo-in Temple is also located here, which is modeled after a 900-year-old temple in Kyoto, Japan. The cemetery of the temple has a perfectly symmetrical structure, representing the classic Japanese architectural style of the Heian period, and the vermilion wall, a symbol of wealth, is particularly beautiful against the verdant cliffs of the mountains. The 9-foot-tall Buddha statue is located in the main hall of the temple, covered in gold leaf, and its position is just right to welcome the first rays of sunlight in the morning. Outside the courtyard, wild peacocks take a leisurely stroll by the carp pond, and the unique garden symbolizes the blissful pure land of Amitabha Buddha. You can ring the sacred bell before entering the temple, and the deep and low sound of the bell echoes in the Buddhist temple.Honolulu · 1.2km from Ahuimanu

Gualani Regional Park is located on the east coast of Oahu Island. The park is backed by majestic mountains, lush meadows are surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the clear sea is dependent on each other. It is only a 10-minute drive from Gualani Ranch, where the American TV series "Lost" was filmed. Kualoa Regional Park is an open park with ancient fish ponds, beautiful sandy beaches, and small islands near the shore. The scenery here is beautiful enough to be the backdrop for a postcard. On the long and narrow white sandy beach, palm trees swayed. It's very safe to swim here, but beware of jellyfish and winter waves.Honolulu · 7.9km from Ahuimanu

Fun for Families & Photos, But Skippable for Solo Travelers 🍍 (6/10)The Dole Plantation is one of those places you hear about constantly when visiting Oʻahu, so I decided to check it out for myself. Here’s my honest take.Yes, the pineapple maze is huge—it even holds a world record—and riding the little train through the plantation to see how pineapples grow is pleasant enough. The grounds are well-kept, and you can definitely take some cute, colorful photos among the tropical plants. For kids or teenagers, I can see this being a fun couple of hours. Families seem to genuinely enjoy it.But as a solo traveler? I found very little that truly engaged me. The maze felt more tiring than thrilling without a group to laugh with. The train ride is short and a bit too slow-paced for an adult traveling alone. Even the famous Dole Whip, while tasty, isn't worth making a special trip for.Everything feels designed for groups, photo ops, or keeping young children entertained. There's no deep cultural or historical immersion, no real adventure, and not much for a solo adult to sink their teeth into.

A submarine weapon from World War II. The interior of the submarine can also be visited. It is well preserved without the decorations for weapon launch. This is a good place to appreciate the military equipment from World War II. The outdoor environment of the museum is very large.

The bronze statue of King Hameha is also the first time I have seen this country. It is not too big, but the various things of the singers are really unique. The scenery is very beautiful, and there are many interesting games. As a tourist attraction, the cost performance is very high.

The Temple Valley is really beautiful. There are very Japanese-style buildings here, and there are also very beautiful garden designs. It is somewhat in the style of Japanese gardens. The valley under the blue sky and white clouds is really beautiful, and there are not many tourists here.

Go early and enjoy the morning freshness! (and less traffic) Stroll the beach, swim, lots of room to put up a tent or cover and make a day of it. The sea before you, coral at your feet, mountain backdrop.

Beautiful beach with turquoise waters. The beach isn't very touristy as it isn't in the normal touristy areas so it is calmer! Definitely a feel of paradise.
