Things to do in Clare

Some animals are sleeping during the day or winter, so it’s quite depends on the seasons and the weather if you are going to have a good day in the zoo, I am lucky that I saw lots of animals that I have never seen before, very happy about it. No issues with the pre booked ticket at all.

Visiting Monarto Safari Park was such an amazing experience. It really felt like going on a real safari because the animals roam in huge open spaces instead of small enclosures. The bus tour was relaxing and informative, and seeing lions, giraffes, rhinos, and elephants up close was unforgettable. The park is massive — one of the largest safari parks outside Africa — so there was always something exciting to see. The staff and guides were also friendly and knowledgeable, which made the visit even better. It’s definitely a great day trip from Adelaide for animal lovers and families.

Bumbunga comes from the Aboriginal Parnpangka, which means rain water lake. Along the way, there are iron sculptures, huge cockroaches, rats, tin men, flying saucers, big flies, etc. This is a very ironic set of sculptures made by private environmentalists using waste products to protest the government's plan to build a landfill in this area. Among them, next to the giant cockroach sculpture stands the title of "The World's Largest Cockroach" certified by Australia's Channel 9!
