The Milk Sea is located in Yading Village, Shangri-La, Daocheng County, Sichuan Province, which is far away from Chengdu. If you want to see the Milk Sea, you need to hike in the mountains at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters. It is basically impossible for people with weak physical conditions and altitude sickness to see it. The Milk Sea is a plateau lake with crystal clear water.

Xiannairi Mountain is very beautiful. You can walk up the steps for about an hour. There is a big lake halfway up the mountain, and the lake reflects Xiannairi Mountain. It was autumn when I arrived in Daocheng Yading. The trees on both sides of the lake began to turn yellow, and the snow-capped mountains were even more beautiful. [Scenery]

Haizi Mountain Nature Reserve is located in the north of Daocheng, with a total area of ​​3,287 square kilometers and an average altitude of 4,300-4,700 meters. The plateau is the largest ancient ice body relic on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, namely the "Daocheng Ancient Ice Cap". There are jagged rocks and large and small lakes scattered all over the mountain. On the mountain with an average altitude of 4,500 meters, 1,145 large and small lakes are shining in the mountains like a thousand diamonds scattered by God. Its scale and density are the highest in China. The unique landscape of Haizi Mountain is the stone river, stone sea and glacial rock basins (lakes) of various shapes composed of large and small granite boulders (gravel). There are no trees or rivers in sight, and even wild grass only grows occasionally. It is as "wild" as the surface of Mars photographed by the "Spirit".

After arriving at Milk Lake, I definitely want to go to Five Color Lake. It takes less than half an hour to go up the gentle slope. You still need some luck to see the scenery. When I went up, the weather was gloomy, fog covered the fairy day, and it rained a little later, but I could still see the glacier above. If you are lucky, you can see the Three Gods Mountain.

This is a scenic spot in the city of Aden, and it is also the end point of the battery car. Here, you can go to the Milk Sea and other directions through the pedestrian plank road. It can be said to be a transfer point. For most tourists, this location can actually see the three sacred mountains from a distance. If you are physically weak, you can just walk around here. You don’t need to continue going up to see the three sacred mountains.

A perfect score! Zhagongbeng is the starting point for the long trek. Stepping off the electric cart, you're immediately faced with three sacred mountains, offering unobstructed views and a panoramic vista of the snow-capped peaks. You can easily capture magnificent snow-capped mountain panoramas. The surrounding meadows are vast, and you might even encounter gentle Tibetan wolves, adding to the wild charm of the Tibetan landscape. This is the fork in the road between Chonggu Temple, Pearl Lake, and Milk Lake. The route is clearly planned, avoiding detours. The gentle viewing platform is easy to walk to, allowing you to admire Mount Xiannairi up close without much physical exertion, balancing relaxation with great photos. The attractions are included in the scenic area package ticket, with no extra charges, making it excellent value. It's recommended to arrive early to avoid crowds; the morning sun bathes the snow-capped peaks in a particularly sacred light. As a key transit point in Yading, it combines scenic beauty with practicality, making it a must-visit in Yading.

It exceeded my expectations; it was magnificent. The white pagoda paired with Gesang flowers was especially beautiful. Taking a leisurely stroll around it, I quietly felt the power of faith. It's not far from the city center, so I recommend stopping by if you're passing through.

The clear mountain breeze blows across the snow-capped mountains and lakes, stirring the pine trees to make pleasant waves and blowing the prayer flags one after another. Amid the lingering smoke, the sound of Sanskrit, and the fluttering prayer flags, Chonggu Temple is perfectly embedded at the foot of the Xiannairi Mountain.
