Shiniu Mountain Scenic Area
Shiniushan Mountain is located in Shuikou Town in the northeast of Dehua County, Fujian Province, about 40 kilometers from the county seat, 150 kilometers from Quanzhou City, 176 kilometers from Xiamen, and 195 kilometers from Fuzhou City. It is 1,782 meters above sea level and is named after the main peak, which looks like a bull roaring to the sky. Shiniushan Mountain is a typical complete radial volcanic collapse basin with rich geological relic resources such as subvolcanic rock landforms. It is one of the two radial ancient volcanic eruption craters in China. Shiniushan Mountain is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a national geological park and a forest park. Shilongxi Drifting
Known as the "No. 1 Rafting in East China", the rubber boat rafting in Shilongxi, Deshi, is about 4 kilometers long and takes nearly 3 hours. Along the way, there are dense forests, groups of wild animals, clear streams, fast streams, and large drops. There are 69 bends and 88 rapids. Tourists can go down the stream in groups of two or three, paddling in the water, and enjoying the rough waves without any danger. Shilong Creek originates at the foot of Shiniushan Mountain, and merges with the water from six mountain streams of Shiniushan Mountain and Qihe Mountain. It flows westward through Tadou and merges with Taoxian Creek. It is 12 kilometers long. The water here is like flying pearls and splashing jade in the rapids and like the waves in a silver lake in the calm places. It is staggered and soundless. The water is clear and you can see the bottom. The whole stream is set against the backdrop of the primeval forest. The Shiniu Mountain Scenic Area boasts a very cool temperature in summer. The Daixian Waterfall has a very large flow of water during the rainy season and is well worth seeing. Most importantly, the entire hike is by cable car, making it painless and perfect for family trips.

Exceeded expectations. It is recommended to play for 7-8 hours. With a ticket, you can use the cable car to reach the main peak without using your feet. You can have a small picnic during the entire cable car process. Eat, take pictures and enjoy the scenery while riding a cow down the mountain. It is like turning a carousel into a large elliptical rotating porcelain cow.

This place is incredibly photogenic, and taking pictures with kids is a non-stop experience! There's a ceramic exhibition area filled with Santa Clauses and various animal-themed pieces—girls really can't stop taking photos!
You can buy a 54 yuan coupon for the clay-pulling experience on Meituan, where you can pull the clay yourself. However, my friend told me that the clay doesn't need to be fired, just played with it. Their clay can't hold food, you know! (My friend's advice is just for reference. We fired it ourselves, but I don't know if it worked. I wouldn't put food in it for my kids.)
Finally, we visited the art exhibition area and the sales area. I bought some cups I liked as gifts!
It takes about an hour to explore with kids, but if you're doing crafts, you can go a little slower.

[Value for money] Excellent, I'd definitely go back.
[Fun] It was a lot of fun, and both kids and adults had a blast. We got stuck on rocks a few times, but it was such a great feeling when our family worked together to finally get through. Even strangers had a water fight and had a blast! There was a shallow section where many people stopped to pour water and then just sat in the stream to rest. It was so refreshing!
[Scenery] Green mountains lined the road on both sides, and I looked up at the blue sky and white clouds. The stream water was clear and sweet. Why do I know it's sweet? Because when I went through the rapids, I screamed with excitement and swallowed several gulps of water. 🤣
