

▲ The peaks in Dolomiti National Park are all spectacular, attracting many visitors who come to witness this unique and breathtaking wonder of the world. In winter, it's a renowned ski resort, while in summer, it becomes a hiker's paradise. Among its many famous peaks, the Geisler peaks are often called the "most photogenic mountains." Nestled at the foot of the Geisler peaks lies the deep and elongated Val di Funes, which has earned the reputation as the "Pearl of South Tyrol."


▲ The Dolomites National Park is located in the eastern section of the northern Italian Alps. In the 18th century, French geologist Dieudonne Dolomieu conducted scientific research on the region and its geology. The mountains are composed of light-colored limestone, and due to erosion, the ridges are jagged with deep valleys and numerous steep cliffs. The area contains 41 glaciers and only small forested sections. Roads pass through many famous mountain passes. The main center for tourism and mountaineering activities is Cortina d'Ampezzo, with other tourist destinations including Auronzo and Ortisei. Larger towns such as Bolzano and Belluno are located on the western side.
