In Kyushu, you can get a pass at the West JR offices. It's only valid on Shinkansen trains up to Shin Osaka. If you accidentally end up going to Kyoto, you'll have to pay extra from Shin Osaka to Kyoto.★

Although the price has increased, it's a fantastic value, with a 7-day Shinkansen and express train ticket costing the full amount. Redemption is easy at Kansai Airport, with designated seats available at the green window. JR Passes allow you to use sleeping trains, but you'll need to pay for express trains and beds.★

The scholar said that Guide Li took me on a tour of the Forbidden City. Visiting the Forbidden City during the off-season was a great experience. We booked a morning session, so it wasn't too crowded. The Forbidden City is truly vast; one can't help but marvel at the wisdom and aesthetics of the ancients. The three-and-a-half-hour guided tour flew by, leaving us wanting more. Guide Li's explanations were humorous, engaging, and easy to understand. He was very knowledgeable and shared many stories behind the artifacts. It was a truly wonderful experience. Visiting the Forbidden City definitely requires a guided tour; otherwise, it's just like looking at buildings. At the end, Guide Li also shared many local Beijing delicacies, ensuring we didn't miss out. There are also many beautiful photos to share!★

Great package. On time, smooth tour, great/ experienced bus driver, stress free. Managed to see mt fuji undressed herself. Kudos to tour guide- Blair san who guided us in English and Chinese language; super friendly and very knowledgeable. Goes out the way to share more or assist anyway she can during the whole journey. Why was my itinerary limited to boarding at Dongdaemun, while other tour companies allowed boarding at Myeongdong and Hongdae? I was staying in Myeongdong, woke up at 6:00 AM, had breakfast, and rushed to Dongdaemun by subway at 7:40 AM. I even went to the wrong exit and boarded the wrong tour bus! After boarding at Dongdaemun, the tour bus drove back to Myeongdong subway station exit 8 to pick up other tourists. It felt like I was being tossed around between Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. The toboggan ride was thrilling, and feeding the seagulls shrimp chips was fun. The bicycles were very tiring; it took my friend and me 30 minutes to pedal back and forth 🤣🤣. The restaurant for lunch was delicious; it would have been better if the tour guide had been more attentive.
