▲ Plitvice Lakes National Park is a historic national park in Southeast Europe and one of the largest national parks in Croatia. It is also known as the "Sixteen Lakes National Park" due to its 16 main lakes. The park was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

▲ Plitvice Lakes National Park has consistently attracted nature enthusiasts with its unique natural beauty. Most of the park is covered by lush forests, boasting an exceptional ecological environment. The park features numerous natural dams formed by limestone deposits, which create a series of lakes, caves, and waterfalls. Its lake system consists of 16 named lakes and several smaller cascading lakes, divided into Upper and Lower Lakes due to geological substrates and distinct hydrogeological conditions. Additionally, the park serves as a habitat for bears, wolves, and many rare bird species.

▲ In addition to observing plants and animals, the park offers visitors eight lakeside tourism programs and four hiking trails, allowing them to fully enjoy the pleasures of wilderness life.
