Nice tasting room. Tables were set for the tasting with water available and breadstick to cleanse the palate. All wines were white (no reds on this one), and the prosciutto plate was perfect to bring out the flavors of the wine. We took a short walk to overlook the vineyards and discuss the limestone and volcanic black soils in the region. The guides were very pleasant and accommodating to english speakers, willing to converse with me although everyone else was Italian. Not wanting to detract from everyone else, I used Google Translate Conversation to interpret the tour and Gemini to read up on each of the 5 wines as they were being served. I enjoyed it and look forward to getting back to tour the area. Arriving just before the 5pm start time was too late to see the Castle and the beautiful little town. Recommend arriving earlier in the afternoon to take in the sites.★

I arrived 15 minutes early, but the bus driver was unhelpful and wouldn't open the doors until 3 minutes before departure. Furthermore, we didn't depart on time; we left 10 minutes late. The bus ride itself was comfortable, but the driver was a real disappointment.★

The overall trip was quite comfortable. Our group consisted of seven people, and we weren't cramped at all. The scenery was beautiful. You don't need to bring your own lunch; they took us to a restaurant for lunch. It seemed to be a partner restaurant, but there was no pressure to buy anything, and the food was reasonably priced and tasty. It's suitable for tourists who haven't made any preparations (that's what we did, and we felt it was very worthwhile). It's especially good if you have the opportunity for a more in-depth self-driving tour. PS: We couldn't find the meeting point sign at first, but we followed the photos in the order instructions; it was the place where a group of people were gathered near the stairs in front of the entrance.★
