We took this tour on October 4th. Mark led our group. Thanks to his coordination, our visit to the Simatai Wall and the Gubei Water City went smoothly. We had enough time for everything: boats, lunch, the wall, and a stroll around the city, both in daylight and illuminated.

The trip was great! Many thanks to our guide, Svetlana, for her attention and excellent organization. We followed her instructions and made it all the way. We bought tickets for the boat, funicular, and lunch from her, and it turned out to be cheaper than at the box office. We took the funicular up the wall to the fifth tower, and then, surprisingly, there's a path up the stairs to the eighth tower (my wife and I are no longer young, but we climbed it and even reached the tenth tower). We also managed to walk around the city, but the light fades quickly. So, if you want to take pictures, I recommend not lingering on the wall. There are many beautiful places in the city, especially in the fall. We also captured the city at night with the lanterns, very beautiful! Thanks again to Svetlana!

The entire tour was really well planned. Cindy was a fantastic tour guide who always had everything under control. Even on the way there, she gave us lots of helpful tips on how best to approach the Jinshanling section and what options were available. While we traveled together, everyone hiked the wall independently. This was great because it allowed us to see everything at our own pace. This section is truly beautiful, and the groups were well-spaced, so we were often completely alone. Gubei and Simatai were also very beautiful. I almost wished we had a little more time there. But the day only has a limited number of hours, and we didn't actually get back to Beijing until 11 pm. I'm completely satisfied with everything and can highly recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed the tour! We were picked up at our hotel and driven to Gubei. The drive took about an hour, and our guide, Kai, told us so much along the way that it flew by. We strolled around the town, where our guide gave us a tour of the local exhibits and recommended places to grab a bite to eat. We then climbed the wall ourselves and enjoyed both the views and the attraction itself. After returning to the town, we managed to capture Gubei at night, beautifully illuminated. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit, and our guide, Kai, is fantastic, a special thank you!

We went on a tour with transfers, a cable car ride, and lunch. We loved everything. Our guide, Sveta, is fantastic. She explains everything in great detail. The city itself and, of course, the wall are very impressive. Incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. I highly recommend it.
