Reviews: Iceland south coast 1-day tour: waterfalls, glacier and Reynisfjara Beach | optional add-on Blue Lagoon

Our tour guide, Andrea had been really informative throughout the whole trip. While the drive from destination to destination is a little long, she shared with us stories of the area, Iceland. Whenever we passby any interesting buildings or places, Andrea would also spontaneously shares backstories about them. Lucky us, we were able to see an Artic Fox up close thanks to Andrea's sharp eyesight.

Reviews: 1-day tour to Glacier lagoon, Diamond Beach and Vik Town with Chinese and English-speaking guide - optional transfer
Guest User2026-10-31
It was definitely worth the trip. The vast expanses of icy blue perfectly matched every image I had of Iceland. As someone from southern China, seeing it in person was truly breathtaking—it was magnificent! I highly recommend this tour. Going with a tour is very convenient, easier, and cheaper than going on your own. Diamond Beach is also incredibly photogenic.

Reviews: Optional Chinese/English tour: Classic day trip to Iceland's South Coast, including Diamond Beach, Vik, and Königssee.

From picking us up at 7 a.m. to returning to the drop-off point around 10 p.m., the tour guide and driver worked incredibly hard and were very professional. The tour guide spoke English very clearly, covering a wide range of topics in a rich and easy-to-understand way. All the attractions on the itinerary were beautiful, and the scenery along the way was stunning. We even got off the bus to take a few pictures of the aurora borealis while we were passing by at night. Thank you!

Reviews: 1-day tour to glacier lagoon + diamond beach + vik town with Chinese and English-speaking guide, optional transfer included

It's incredibly far, about a 15-hour round trip. The only real surprise was the glacial lagoon. The waterfalls along the way were just background noise. The black sand beach wasn't nearby; we parked in Vik town. Judging by the distance, it would be a kilometer or two, or even longer, to walk there and back, and it's the back of the pictured area in popular photos. The trip was very rushed and tiring. But it seemed there was no other way, given how far the glacial lagoon is.
