I visited early on a weekday morning and the visit was so peaceful! I enjoyed learning about the history of the monastery that includes how it became a monastery, daily life of the nuns, food and food preparation, sleeping quarters, washing clothes, burial practices, and worship. The garden and burial quarters were so peaceful and wonderful to visit!

Very interesting place... totally hidden from the public eye. It was quite difficult to find, but the monastery gardens were well worth the trip to Valletta. Another beautiful site...,one of many in Malta's capital city.
