▲ [Wenwu Temple] The temple is located on the northern side of Sun Moon Lake. In 1932, a reservoir was built at Sun Moon Lake to store water. Residents were concerned that if the water level rose too high, two nearby temples—"Longfeng Temple" and "Yihua Hall"—might be flooded. Later, through the efforts of locals, it was decided to relocate and merge the two temples into one, which was renamed Wenwu Temple.
