George our driver was amazing .. full of knowledge and very entertaining and hospitable. From the winery tour to the amazing home cooked 3 course lunch with free flowing wine to the river cruise on a private boat .. again with free flowing sparkling wine to the last stop for green wine and charcuterie .. it was nothing short of amazing on views and company. Would definitely recommend if you are in Porto and looking for an amazing day out in the Douro Valley

During our stay in Porto, we wondered over to Gaia, took the gondola down and ended up in WOW, it did not disappoint! We purchased the daily pass and made the most use costing 5 museums over the afternoon. We saw Planet Cork, Wine Experience, the Chocolate Story, Pink Palace and the history of Porto! The staff throughout the whole place were very pleasant, answered all our questions. These are all self guided tours. Planet cork was amazing, didn't realize how much you could do with this. The wine experience tour was just as good so much info on wine. With a tasting at the end by Joao who was also great! The Chocolate Story was next and we had a great time enjoying chocolate from all the different stations and learning of its long history! again, the staff was awesome! The pink palace was really fun and definitely a instragram worthy opportunity at every turn! And finally the history of Porto! If you're looking for a great experience for wine, history and fun visit WOW!!

We booked this trip for my 45th birthday and it was truly incredible. I kept having to pinch myself. Everything was so so beautiful and the settings were jaw dropping. I can’t recommend this trip enough. Both informative but also fun. Everything was so well organised and our guide Sara was incredible! We loved our lunch under the vine leaves overlooking the vineyards with scenery for days. We went with such a lovely group of people and I loved that we all sat together at lunch and got to know each other. The boat trip was also a highlight. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. I could choose to use 15 days within two months, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it.

We had an exceptional experience at Fado na Baixa in Porto. The performance featured highly professional musicians and singers who delivered traditional fado music with remarkable passion and emotion. Their beautiful performances truly moved the audience. Between the live performances, the show included informative video clips that explored the history of fado, including the Coimbra style of fado and the important role of female fado singers. Learning about the origins and evolution of this music greatly deepened our appreciation of what we were hearing. The space itself was super intimate and cozy, which made the experience feel even more personal and immersive. If we return to Portugal, we would definitely love to experience this performance again. We strongly recommend Fado na Baixa to all visitors to Portugal.

It was a wonderful trip to the beautiful Douro Valley. We had a fantastic day filled with memorable experiences, delicious food, plenty of wine tastings, and fascinating tours of local wineries. Telma was one of the best tour guides I've ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing a wealth of history and fascinating background stories about the region, the wine industry, and Portugal in general. She took genuine care of everyone in the group and was especially attentive to me—applying ice packs several times after I accidentally bumped my forehead while boarding the bus (so please be careful and avoid making the same clumsy mistake I did!). I feel really fortunate to have chosen this tour and to have met her.


