We set off late, the guides were cheerful, the water was murky, there weren't many fish, and there were a lot of people. We didn't snorkel much, but swam and dove from the boat.★

The island fee for Mabul Island is 50 MYR, payable by yourself or by scanning a QR code. It's truly beautiful, filled with flowers and Bajau people selling coconuts. It's not ideal for snorkeling, perhaps due to the presence of overwater bungalows. However, the instructors are very helpful. Overall, it's best to just enjoy the scenery and take photos. I recommend our guide, Chen Kaixin; he's super fun and awesome!Trip.com Picks
