Since it was a small group, the driver picked us up at the hotel on time. The small crowds made the experience very good. The steam train burned coal, and the smoke was a bit dirty. I was covered in fine coal dust when I returned, so I tried not to open my mouth when facing the wind. The penguins were cute, and you could see them up close on the boardwalk. The starry sky was also beautiful. I had already seen the zoo in Brisbane, so I didn't go. I felt that an hour was a bit tight for the zoo. I would like to praise the driver and tour guide, Banban, for his steady driving and also for teaching us some sightseeing tips.★

What a great day! Peter was a great tour guide who gave just the right amount of info, and was very clear about arrangements so we could really relax and enjoy the day. Puffing Billy was a great experience and the sanctuary was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Only small negative was it’s a bit short on legroom on the bus- but didn’t impact on the day. Highly recommend this trip.★

The excursion was fantastic thanks to the guide, although the sites were also beautiful. William provided excellent explanations and help! The only downside is the price, as it's somewhat inaccessible.
