The Kuranda Rainforest Cable Car offers a stunning aerial view, while the train journeys through the rainforest, passing beautiful waterfalls along the way. Our day tour guide, Mr. Zhang, was very knowledgeable about Cairns, providing an overview of its history. His well-organized tour was excellent; a truly outstanding guide! The staff was unbeatable. Eager to help and cheerful. The speedboat ride was an adventure. Don't eat breakfast too close to the time. The barrier was fantastic, and they even took photos with a GoPro. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend it.

The full day trip was great. The highlights were definitely the skyrail and Kuranda village where I got an extra ticket to enter the butterfly sanctuary (was very much worth it if you like butterflies). Though, the train at the end of day was a bit mid… The tour itself is mostly self-guided apart from the 45mins army duck. But they have allowed enough time for each place that it doesn’t feel too much/little which is good.

High light is the Army Duck Tour, the guide Shauno is so funny, very informative, and saw some animals in a mini zoo, great scenery on cable car, and enjoy delicious lunch in a Thai food restaurant, just a bit long ride on train. Recommended!


