Even though it was just a transport, our guide explained quite a bit about the area; traveling privately would certainly have been much more difficult, especially with the long shuttle waiting times. A fantastic area for hiking and photography.★

Superbly organized tour :) All times were well planned and there were plenty of food options. At Magome's, you could choose whether to have lunch with the tour – you had to pay for that yourself, but that was mentioned in the description. Very nice stops and we were back in Nagoya on time.★

I really recommend this days trip from Nagoya. Takayama's old town was stunning (and the Hida beef lunch is a must), while Shirakawa-go felt like walking through a fairytale. Huge thanks to our guide, Xiaoyu! She was wonderful- super organized and shared great local insights without being overbearing. She kept everything running smoothly and made the whole day feel easy and personal. If you want a stress-free way to see the Japanese Alps, this is it. A perfect day trip that didn't feel rushed!★

We had a truly fantastic day. The weather was superb, the scenery magnificent, and the hike very accessible. Our guide was excellent: friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable, which she shared through fascinating anecdotes about the places we visited. I highly recommend this excursion; it will remain one of the best memories of our trip.
