I was traveling with my 20 yr old son, staying in Talkeetna, and we had an afternoon to burn. I called Susitna Sled Dog Adventures and spoke to Alyssa. She set up a tour, I think it was same day. We had a blast! Rohn spent so much time with us introducing us to the dogs--oh my gosh, there were so many beautiful pups--taking them for a walk on their beautiful property and telling us all about sled dog racing and caring for the dogs on his team. And we got hang out with the new puppies. What a cool experience! I hope to go back in winter and go out on the trail with these amazing dogs.★

The tour was very informative and I enjoyed the driver’s perspective on the area. He moved to Juneau about three years ago and had a lot of local insight on the area. We went to the Mendenhall Glacier area for a spectacular view of the river and glacier. Well worth the money!★

This was a great dual adventure! Lisa, our bus driver picked us up & drove us to the Mendenhall Glacier & Nugget Falls. She was outstanding! She was very informative about Juneau, the glacier & Tongass Nat’l Park. It was a beautiful ride to our first destination. With the extra time on this tour, we were able to walk through the main park & to Nugget Falls. The only bummer was that we missed the salmon run & bear activity by a few days. Lisa brought us back to the Whalewatch dock & was just as informative along the way. The boat was comfortable and crew were outstanding as well. I wish I could remember the Captain & Naturalist’s names. They were both great, highly informative and witty. The Whalewatch boat was comfortable with plenty of room on the outer decks to see our whales. We observed many humpbacks, though they seemed fat & happy & ready for their upcoming Hawaiian migration. We highly recommend this Dolphin Jet Boat Tours dual adventure. Another great day in Alaska!★
