Land transportation and the boat are great. The guide Milton was excellent - polite, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed everything except Isla Chólon, I found it dirty and everything much more expensive.★

My 4 star review is an average of a few aspects of the trip:
5 stars: our boat captains and our guide, Daniel! He was so amazing, high energy, and kept everyone informed of what our trip would consist of. We had some problems with the boat and had to switch boats and he and the 2 captains dealt with this expertly. He was knowledgeable about each island and made the experience on the boat very fun with music and shots of rum. 🍹
3 stars: we booked the Plankton experience but found out that we would have had to wait alone on the last island for 2 hours to do that experience and then they would bring us back to Cartagena by bus (not boat) arriving at 9:30 pm. This should have been clearly explained in the trip description, so because we weren’t comfortable with that scenario we didn’t do the plankton experience but we paid for it. I hope others see this and know this before deciding to do plankton experience.
Also, they advertise 5 islands but you may not get off boat at all of them, one is just to snorkel at.
Lunch is served late, like almost 3pm-make sure to bring snacks or eat a big breakfast. Lunch was very good though.
There are vendors at the lunch spot-wish they would ask them not to come to the table (beach area is fine, we expect vendors there) it made it hard to eat in peace after a long day on the boat.
Boat isn’t shaded for everyone, make sure to bring a hat with a chinstrap, long sleeves, and lots of sunscreen and plenty of water.★

My reservation advisors and guides are Aisa, Daniel, and Miguel. They are very helpful in answering my questions about the tour beforehand. The pick-up at the hotel was smooth, but the rides to the island and back were very bumpy. Once we arrived at the beach club, the staff was very welcoming and nice. They also have the sickest music playlist. It’s relaxing and lovely to spend time at the beach club. After sunset, the plankton activity was really fun too.★

Jose was a really good guide. Super helpful. The whole boat crew was very helpful and lovely. Had a pleasant experience. It was quite fast paced but we got to explore heaps of places. We were well taken care of :) thank you★

Amazing 5 Islands tour—definitely a highlight of my Cartagena trip! Beautiful turquoise waters, fun stops, and a great mix of lively and relaxing spots. Gigi our tour guide was amazing and friendly, and everything ran smoothly. Perfect day to swim, relax, and enjoy the views. Highly recommend!
