Reviews: Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore

A wonderful, slightly damp tour of downtown Singapore with Holden and about a dozen other folks from Australia, Germany, Switzerland, and China. We rode past a whole bunch of sights (too many to remember) including the Singapore Flyer, the F1 pit lane buildings, the Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion, the Supreme Court, the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, a Hawker center that is next to a road that is closed down at night because of the Satay lines, and the Sultan Mosque. We stopped for restrooms and drinks a couple of places and when we were in the little India area, we had Samosas and sugar cane drinks with ice. Very refreshing. Holden was a great tour guide and answered many questions with good humor and a smile. Pretty much anyone who can ride a bike can do this tour. It’s very flat and even though Singapore nearly nothing in the way of separated bike infrastructure, we had no issues just riding slowly on the sidewalk (pavement). Pedestrians are very accommodating.

Tour was impeccably delivered by Ping, whose knowledge of Singapore’s history and heritage was on point. She presided the tour with intellectual precision, passion and charisma. Thank you so much for making it worth our while. God bless and take care. Clive & Ngaire ♥️🙏😊
