It is a must to take the cruise if you are covering both Guilin and Yangshuo. The view was so unreal.
The service from the pick up driver was great. On the cruise, there were detailed explanation by the attendant on the great photo taking spots what to take note off.
Food was okay, its limited portion buffet. You may add on other ala cart food if you want.
I took the pick up from hotel and the 4 stars cruise ticket as I am travelling solo. With the experience, I would suggest to buy only the cruise ticket and arrange for own transport (it’s very easy with didi). The 4 stars cruise ticket only cost CNY 360, while I paid for S$101 for the whole package.
Overall, it was a great experience and not to be missed!★

Booking VIP with transportation and box lunch was great. The VIP section has 12 people with a window that opens at the front. It's quieter and you have access to the back and top balcony. If you want largely unobstructed views, most local people take a nap after lunch and almost no one is upstairs.★

The tour guide / driver made the whole experience worth it! The sceneries were gorgeous, and the place we stopped at for a quick restaurant/lunch break, their beer fish was absolutely delicious!★

This was a GREAT tour! Prompt pick-up, knowledgeable and friendly driver, perfect balance of touristy and off-the-beaten-track activities, wonderful lunch spot, and useful advice about the benefits of a smaller raft. It was also a very handy way to get from Guilin to Yangshuo where we left the tour. Highly recommended!★

Very nice and chilly trip. Andy did the great job, and had a pleasant conversation during the trip. Had a lot of good pictures left with us from that trip. Beautiful location, although, I wouldn’t mind if it were much bigger than it was. But still, good memories and pics.
