Great tour, very knowledgeable guide and overall amazing experience. This package includes the admition to the castle itself together with an informative guide. Highly recommend taking this tour, it poured a lot of light onto the Scottish history, especially the witch trials. Extremely interesting and totally worth it!

We had Jack and Linda as our guides and they were incredible. The history of Edinburgh is completely fascinating and I had no idea it was so gory! Although I'm a bit of a sceptic when it comes to ghosts and paranormal activity, I still felt spooked when down in the vaults. The ticket was a bit pricey but I'd say it's definitely worth the money.

The tour started in the upper part of the city. We received our audio equipment to listen to the stories and were guided through some locations by Nicola, who told us in an immersive, humorous, and very well-acted way about some past events in the city. Afterwards, we went to the vaults, and everything was very smooth, well-signposted, and organized. Nicola is an excellent storyteller!


