We had a canoe with an electric motor, which made for a peaceful trip. The morning drive into the national park was very informative, although you don't see as many animals from the water. The scenery, however, is stunning. The hike on the Jaguar Trail was okay, but not a must-do. We got along very well with our guide, which made the tour both enjoyable and informative. P.S.: It's best to bring your own binoculars, as the rental ones are a bit cloudy.★

6am tour is amazing for animal spotting. We did not spend much time in the actual canals but maybe better to book a kayak tour if this is important to you.
