Reviews: Charyn Canyon - Private Day Tour

Andrey and his tour was recommended by my Friend. We discussed various options, Andrey helped us with pro and con of different options for our situation and we chose Charyn Canyon. Our Guide Hakim arrived ahead if time. Solid Chevrolet Suburban. Hakim speaks good English, was very courteous and happy to chat and and then let us snooze when we wanted. Was proactive in checking for coffee and WC breaks. While the Canyon itself was great the X factor was small village market stop and the picnic by river Charyn. Hakim had 4 year degree in Travel and Tourism and taking to him was like talking to very knowledgeable Qazaq friend. We chatted about places to visit, history, culture, democracy and also our families. The cherry on top was his dining recommendation at Navat. Overall this tour is tempting us to come back for other tours and more conversations during the summer.

The tour was great, I loved everything. As a first-time traveler, I was a bit apprehensive at times, but I still went along with everyone else. Our group was small – six people. The guide was positive, attentive, and a wonderful singer. He also helped take a million beautiful photos. We also loved the food at the guesthouse, both breakfast and dinner – they were delicious and filling. Thank you all for the great atmosphere, the support, and the good weather!

The trip was amazing!!! Tour guide was on time , very helpful and a fun person who made the tour 100x excellent. Its cheaper than other tour, but the service was perfect. He made sure we had great time, bought us chocolate. Told us to join in the activities which made it hard to forget. It worth it, he took care of us and lets us have fun while ensure we got to dance/cook/ride horses as well. The tour took only half day which was the best since we came down from 3days in shymbulak and so tired already and wanted a free and easy day for nomadic tour. So choosing this tour with him made the trip wholesome and fun. Never regret. Pls choose this. Worth every single cents!!

It was extremely good experience. Our guide Nur Sultan is a kind and helpful personality he assisted us very well all throughout our nomadic lifestyle tour right from our pick up from the hotel Rahat Palace to drop at the same location everything was perfect. The tour was very informative and different unique fun loving experiences like cultural folk dance, tasty snack, archery, horse ride and acrobat, delicious lunch, lessons on nomadic lifestyle etc. We enjoyed the entire tour with our 10 months infant. Everyone there seemed very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended to anyone who visits Almost as a tourist. Great experience do not miss it.

My friend and I, had an incredible time on the Kazakh Ethno-Village small-group tour on May 5th, 2024. From the very beginning, our driver Rinat was fantastic. He was friendly, informative, and made the journey enjoyable. We were lucky to have beautiful weather for the tour, which only added to the amazing experience. Everything about the day was fascinating, from learning about the significance of the yurt to gaining insights into traditional Kazakh customs. The horse show and the ethno village games put on for us were both entertaining and culturally enriching. However, the true highlight of the tour was the delicious traditional food! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and it was a wonderful way to experience Kazakh cuisine. Overall, we can't recommend this tour enough. It was a perfect blend of cultural immersion, entertainment, and delicious food. Thanks to KazGuidedTours ..Annat and Rinat for making it such a memorable day!
