Reviews: Satayah Reef Snorkeling Tour from Marsa Alam with Lunch and Drinks
Guest User2025-10-25
The trip was tiring but one of the most beautiful experiences of my life (and I've been to every continent). From Marsa Alam, it was a 2.5-hour bus ride and a 2-hour boat trip. After an hour, we saw the first dolphins in a pod, and after 30 minutes, they were jumping off the boat again like in a movie. At Dolphin House, it was absolutely incredible: entire pods, so close, the animals playing and frolicking. We were able to observe them calmly and at length before and after lunch. Simply magical! The boat had plenty of shade, and the crew was top-notch.

Everything was great, the sea was just a bit too rough for us, not recommended for those with a weak stomach.

Great experience, very disappointed with TUI on this booking because we had booked to have a French-speaking guide but he did not stay with us at all during the experience, we managed with the staff on site.

First, be aware that tour companies don't contact you until the last minute. As a result, I ended up canceling the tour I booked through ****** and rebooking through Trip.com. Regarding the items requiring payment on-site, the information listed on the website differed from what the tour company told me when I got there. Thanks to persistent negotiation and evidence, I was able to get the payment waived, but it's important to save the link and take screenshots. While other participants also had various issues, the places we visited were amazing. It's important to consider these issues as a valuable part of your Egypt trip and allow yourself time to enjoy it. If you can't afford it, I recommend a guided tour rather than a local tour. This tour involved meeting the guide at each ruin.
