Perfect day and just a little shorter than the other tours because you only do one wine tasting. Perfect because I don’t drink that much but love to visit wineries. And my family doesn’t like super long tours so this was perfect. The cruise was beautiful and the meal at the winery was delicious. Just a perfect way to enjoy the Douro valley.

Luis was a great guide, very knowledgeable and attentive to everyone’s needs. The cruise was canceled due to extremely high water due to the unprecedented rain across Spain and Portugal this winter. Another wine tasting was added and added to the experience. Lunch was wonderful and the Ladies were amazing and very generous with food, wine and espresso! Beautiful terraced wineries all across the valley, an experience like no other!

We had an exceptional experience at Fado na Baixa in Porto. The performance featured highly professional musicians and singers who delivered traditional fado music with remarkable passion and emotion. Their beautiful performances truly moved the audience. Between the live performances, the show included informative video clips that explored the history of fado, including the Coimbra style of fado and the important role of female fado singers. Learning about the origins and evolution of this music greatly deepened our appreciation of what we were hearing. The space itself was super intimate and cozy, which made the experience feel even more personal and immersive. If we return to Portugal, we would definitely love to experience this performance again. We strongly recommend Fado na Baixa to all visitors to Portugal.


