Traveling to Australia, this stop came to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. Wandering around the city center, I came to this museum, which is located opposite the City Hall, near the pier. There is a parking lot at the door, which is very convenient, but it is charged. The museum is free to visit. When you enter, there are some open-air seats with artistic shapes on the right, where you can take a break. The locker area is in the front left. All guests who come to visit need to put their belongings in the locker. You need to prepare a 2-dollar Australian dollar coin. Open any empty cabinet. There is a small slot in the cabinet door where you can put coins. You can only put coins that are exactly the size of 2 yuan. Then close the cabinet door and remove the key. When you need to move something, insert the key, turn the door open, and the coin will automatically spit out for you.
This museum has several sections, including the history and culture museum of the aboriginals, the specimen museum, the exquisite collection museum, the art gallery, the cafe, the lounge and other parts. Due to time constraints, I only visited the specimen museum and learned about the animals that are unique to Australia and even Tasmania. Of course, these are specimens, for example: the now extinct Tasmanian tiger, the Tasmanian tiger, the Tasmanian devil, kangaroos of various sizes, flying birds, etc. The decoration of the specimen museum is very simple, or it is deliberately made to be a little primitive, it feels like returning to the primitive society.
The lighting in the lounge is dim, but it has that kind of British style decoration. There are clear instructions along the way, and you can look at the signs to find your favorite museum to visit.
