This was a good tour with lots of information and a pleasant guide. The value for the cost was okay. We started in the Jewish museum and then walked to the key places and monuments. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and serious about the material. I would recommend this activity to get to know Lecce and its background.

A very pleasant route, well-chosen stops, Francesca's historical explanations were sufficiently detailed but not overwhelming, and the tasting stops for delicious local products were a perfect way to conclude the experience. Superb!

The tour gave us a view of what Lecce must have been like prior to 1540. The vibrant Jewish community that probably existed there contributed to a medieval society that is in contrast to present day Lecce. We appreciated this opportunity to learn more about Lecce’s forgotten past. It would have been nice to have a deeper discussion about the subject.

First, wines tasted were great and the food pairings delicious. Our sommelier was just outstanding, he was very knowledgeable about the local wine scene yet provided fun and intriguing stories about our wines and food pairings. This was a great experience.
