Reviews: Lima Half-Day City Walking Tour (Small Groups)

We had the most wonderful city tour in Lima with Haku Tours, and our guide Maverick was absolutely spectacular. From start to finish, he was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about his country. Spending 3–4 hours with him felt less like a tour and more like learning from a friend who truly loves Peru and its history. Maverick shared fascinating insights about Lima’s past and present, the state of the country, and its culture. Highlights included the beautiful Grand Hotel Bolívar, the San Francisco Monastery & Catacombs in Lima’s historic center, and even a very helpful lesson on how to tell the difference between real and fake alpaca wool items — something I’ll definitely remember while shopping! Oh and I almost forgot the most delicious churros!!!! His storytelling, patience, and ability to answer questions made the experience an absolute pleasure. If you’re visiting Lima, I highly recommend Haku Tours and specifically ask for Maverick. This tour was a highlight of my time in Peru.

Valeria was excellent with a strong knowledge of history and perfect English. Her stories of the past history made the tour feel personal and enjoyable. Pickup and drop off were on time and seeing the pyramid in the middle of the city is not to be missed. I highly recommend both the tour and Valeria!!😀

Ivanka our guide and Sergio our driver went above and beyond to make this a memorable day! I can't believe how much we got to see and do... time flew by. The tour was engaging and informative from start to finish and meeting with the artisans in Tlaquepaque was so exciting. We got to make so many things and meet so many talented people in the community! Highly recommend!
Reviews: Private Full-Day Tour to Tequila Pueblo Magico

This tour has it ALL! Mauricio was the perfect guide for our day of tequila tasting. He was so knowledgeable and was happy to be flexible with us. He also made sure we were treated like VIP's- no waiting in lines or getting stuck behind big tour bus groups. Our highlights were the Tres Tonos tasting, lunch in the town of Tequila (Heads up: the city is mostly cash-only) and ending our day with a dance party at Cantaritos El Guero. Cantaritos was a GIANT outdoor bar with live music and dancing. We could have stayed here and danced all night!
