Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Fukuoka: Yufuin + Beppu Kamado Jigoku + Dazaifu Tenmangu One Day Tour [Japan Kyushu • Kannawa • English Guide]

Since this was a three-generation family trip to Japan, my parents booked this as a separate day tour for a relaxing getaway. They mentioned that the tour route was excellent, and they were especially delighted and satisfied thanks to guides Kang Byeong-beom, You, and Seiya. They couldn't stop praising the three guides, saying how cheerful they were and wishing their grandchildren would grow up to be as wonderful as them. Thank you so much for making this the first trip to Japan for our three-generation family so happy!

The itinerary wasn't rushed, with about an hour of free time at each attraction. Our guide, Natsumi, had a lovely voice and provided very detailed explanations. Lake Kinrin in Yufuin was absolutely beautiful. This day trip, which included a ride on the forest train, was definitely worthwhile.

Since it was my first trip to Japan, I had high expectations but also a little bit of worry. Thanks to the Fukuoka → Beppu → Yufuin → Sapporo factory tour with Guide Yoon-chan, it turned out to be a truly fulfilling and enjoyable trip! 😊 At first, I wasn't familiar with traveling in Japan, so I felt lost about where to go and how to get there. However, the best part was that the tour course was so well-organized that I could comfortably visit places I would never have been able to go to if I had planned it myself in a single day. In particular, while traveling from Beppu to Yufuin, Guide Yoon-chan didn't just quickly show us the tourist spots; instead, she added interesting stories and explanations at each location, so there wasn't a single dull moment, even during the travel time. And above all, the atmosphere was fantastic thanks to Guide Yoon-chan's witty banter and jokes. 😂 She was meticulous when explaining things, and made us laugh when she wanted to liven up the mood... Thanks to her, I felt comfortable and happy throughout the entire tour. Since it was my first time traveling to Japan, I was worried it might be too hectic or chaotic like a package tour, but on the contrary, it was enough to make me think, **“If you are traveling to Japan for the first time, trying a tour like this is really worthwhile.”** Within a short itinerary, I didn't just see Fukuoka; I also got to feel the atmosphere of Beppu's hot spring town, explore Yufuin, and even visit a factory. Being able to experience various aspects of Japan all at once made me feel like I had truly gone on a proper trip. Above all, for a first-time visitor, the biggest advantage was simply not having to worry about every detail—such as where to get off, what to see, or how long to look around. Just following the guide, seeing, hearing, eating delicious food, taking photos, and laughing, the day flew by in no time. 😊 And by the end of the trip, I thought, **“Ah, I’m so glad I signed up for this tour!”** I am grateful for making my first trip to Japan such a wonderful memory, but I think it will be even more memorable because Guide Yoon-chan really led the atmosphere so well throughout the journey. I highly recommend this tour, especially if it is your first trip to Japan!

I went to the walking tour with friends. I didn't know Minami area had so many hidden gems. Specially, the different art exhibitions as I am very interested in Art. We got to speak to a few local people and visited the biggest bamboo factory in Oita! There were quite a few quirky shops for gifts. I also loved the cozy, aesthetic cafes. The tour guide was bilingual and very friendly. I would recommend it!
