Reviews: Beijing Highlights Private Day Tour: Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace (Multi-language options available)

We were very pleased with the tour. I'll say right away that this isn't a detailed exploration of every corner of the included sites—to explore each, you'd probably need to spend at least a day at each of the three places. Here, we spent an hour and a half to two hours at each place, starting at 8 a.m. and finishing around 3:30 p.m. This gives us the opportunity to get to know the Temple of Heaven, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace, calmly walking through them. The tour guide, Pasha, is an extremely pleasant person, both as a guide and as a person. He speaks with an accent, but it's perfectly understandable. He gave an engaging account of the history of each site, including dates and historical events. What's especially nice is that we got into the Forbidden City in 10 minutes, thanks to Pasha. I'd previously read that queues can take between an hour and three hours—and this was noticeable from the number of people. It's important to understand that the tour doesn't include a visit to the treasury or any other specific sites. We communicated with the guide via WeChat.

I booked a tour for my dad so he could go alone. I almost forgot, so I booked it very late. Other tours weren't accepting bookings anymore, but they picked him up almost at midnight. My dad was very satisfied when he came back and took a lot of photos. I was worried that he wouldn't be able to enjoy himself alone, but the service was excellent, especially the Chinese-speaking tour guide in group 9. They were very attentive to elderly people, had a great attitude, and the itinerary was well-planned. He was also satisfied with the attractions we visited. I recommend them.
