We visited the old preserved towns of Edo era. Both the towns are very nice but I found Tsumogo-juku more charming. There was enough time to explore both the to. No rush. The guide was very helpful and clear in communication.★

I feel it should be 2 hours instead of 90 minutes in Takayama to take pictures and enjoy sake tasting, hida beef restaurants, and the market at a comfortable pace.★

This day trip from Nagoya to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go was fantastic! The itinerary was well-planned, the guide's explanations were detailed and humorous, and he also introduced many local cultural aspects and snacks along the way. Shirakawa-go in winter is truly beautiful, like a fairytale world, with breathtaking snowscapes. The bus was comfortable, and the schedule was very punctual, with no inconvenience whatsoever. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Chubu region of Japan for the first time!
