Reviews: Hokkaido Japan One-Day Tour from Sapporo: Shiroi Koibito Park, Otaru & Bibai Snow Land [Guaranteed Departure for One Person]

It was an amazing trip! Highly recommended! TOU-san's explanations were superb. He's one of the few guides who speaks fluent Chinese, Japanese, and English. He was patient and attentive, even printing out pictures to explain the characteristics of each area and its iconic landscapes and flowers. He provided helpful tips throughout the trip, sharing great places to eat, shop, and visit, and even shared his own gourmet food list. He surpassed 99.99% of tour guides, haha. This itinerary was relaxing, boasting both natural beauty and cultural attractions. I saw the endless Sea of Japan and strolled through Otaru's shopping district... You can only truly appreciate this relaxing, relaxing, and fulfilling experience when you experience it firsthand.
Reviews: Bagamoyo Historical Tour - Everyday
Guest User2026-01-21
Fantastic Dove trip yesterday to Bagamoyo. The guidebooks don’t do justice to the town’s history, beauty or atmosphere: the Kaole ruins date back to the 13th century but the area feels like a much more ancient settlement, while the busy fishing beach and cargo port is a mixture of modern and traditional and the Roman Catholic Mission is beautifully tranquil: if you’re lucky you may hear a choir practicing in the church grounds, as we did. The buildings associated with Zanzibar and Tanzania’s slaving history are haunting, though for what should be monuments of international importance, quite shockingly badly maintained in some cases. Guide Sadik is equally at ease introducing an attraction or leaving you to explore places and features on your own, and is happy to answer all questions: if you are interested in something specific he’ll be happy to angle your tour toward this. There’s also a delicious lunch, the odd shopping opportunity and a comfortable drive there and back courtesy of Derick (despite the hair-raising evening traffic in Mbezi beach and Mikocheni – some of the antics there break records, even for Dar!)
We’ve been on several Dove expeditions before and always found them engrossing – the crew really pay attention to the details that bring Tanzania alive for visitors, not always easy around Dar es Salaam, where folk are accustomed to tourists having a cursory look before making for the safari parks. However, these tours really get under the surface of the area. Thanks again, all.
Reviews: 9–13 People Group|Romantic 1-day tour in Otaru: Aquarium + Tenguyama + Otaru Music Box Museum

During our trip, it was snowing heavily in Sapporo and Otaru, and it was very cold. After seeing the night view from Tenguyama, seeing the long lines of people shivering as they waited for the bus to the JR station made me realize how wise my decision to join a small group tour was. The biggest surprise was that it was just our family of three – we had the whole group to ourselves! The tour was private! The driver was very patient and punctual, and even helped us book a great value yakiniku restaurant in Tanukikoji on the way back. We were extremely satisfied with the day! Otaru is small, but worth visiting. I highly recommend joining a small group tour to avoid the hassle of finding your own transportation.
Reviews: 1-day tour to Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan: Optional Chinese or English-speaking ski instructors and equipment

A truly delightful skiing experience! A day of heavy snowfall, with both existing and fresh snow, presented numerous challenges. Two complete beginners were able to ski a considerable distance under the instructor's guidance. The instructor, Xun, was extremely professional and patient. He also readily fulfilled our requests for additional snowscape photos. Our guide and instructor, Liao, patiently explained everything along the way, helping us better understand the entire trip. I highly recommend booking the deluxe package; renting a skiing vanity and including four hours of instructor instruction is a great deal.
