The whole activity was amazing! The guide was knowledgeable and spread the love he has for his city. The boat was top quality and the port wine was delicious. The sun came out too so it was perfect.

I enjoyed the music. I wanted something different. You sample a glass of port wine when you enter. The singer explained about the instruments they use. The venue is centrally located. I went back and did a tour during the day. Good experience overall.

The Duoro Valley scenery is beautiful and there are a number of stops in between the bus tour including two winery visits with wine tasting provided. Tour guide Ricardo is funny and professional

Our guide, Jose, was enthusiastic, charming and informative. He did everything possible to ensure that, despite the heavy rain and high waters which meant that the river cruise element had to be cancelled, we had a wonderful time in the Douro valley. We were one of only two couples on the trip and the Mercedes minibus was very clean and comfortable. The tour operator is a family business and successfully try's to visit other smaller, more personal operators. We went to two smaller vineyards, one in the Douro region and the other in the Vinho Verde. Both were different in their own way and we learnt so much about their operations and their wine from Katia and Paulo, respectively. Tastings were plentiful (11 different wines/ports in total with separate accompaniments; one was fresh bread with olive oil and honey, the other Padron peppers with cheese, chorizo and blood sausage. Between the tastings we had a tasty and plentiful lunch at a restaurant operated by the tour operators family


