This tour is more focused on history than sampling of food. We visited fountains, churches, the archive building, a square and the market. In the market we sampled two items, a deep fried chickpea flat bread and an arancinii and selected from an orange or pomegranate juice. Then at the end of the tour we selected from a gelato or a cannelloni.

A fantastic guide who made the tour very entertaining. He was very funny and provided us with many fascinating details about the Mafia in Palermo and the social resistance against it. An absolute must for all visitors to Palermo.
