Reviews: Hobart: Maria Island National Park Active Full-Day Tour
Guest User2026-04-17
This tour is not to be missed. From beginning to end, our guide Matt, made it so special. The scenery is spectacular on the island, the wildlife was beyond expectations. We came to see the wombats and there they were! We loved hearing Matt's personal stories of living in Tasmania; that made it so personal. When I had a slight mishap, injured my foot, he was beyond helpful and kind, always making sure I was OK and even dropping my husband and I off at the emergency room when we got back to Hobart. We've been on many tours while visiting Australia, and the Taurs Tasmania company, and Matt in particular, were the very best.

My family and I enjoyed a lot about this tour. Sam and Isabelle did amazing job. They are extremely knowledgeable on the ocean and the species in Tasmania. We drink and eat a lot so we highly recommend anyone to join this tour.

The driver was polite and thoughtfully asked me which stop I wanted when I boarded. He announced each one loudly. Good service.
Reviews: 3-hour wilderness cruise in Tasman Island, Tasmania with fast ticket issue [Port Arthur/Devil's Garden]

It was a foreign tour group, and the entire tour was conducted in English. The cruise was spectacular; we saw unique landforms, seals, and the biggest surprise was seeing many dolphins. Brunch was simple: coffee and bread. Lunch was sandwiches. We also visited the Port Arthur historical site to see the prison. The environment inside was excellent and very beautiful, just be careful as there was a lot of what looked like kangaroo droppings on the ground. Although we left very early in the morning, we returned early as well, so we weren't too tired.

The itinerary was reasonable, and we strictly followed the itinerary. Pennicott Wilderness Travel Agency provided excellent service.
