For me I was given too much detailed history of the country before we even walked anywhere. It was a lot to process all in one go. The tour got more interesting as we visited parts of the city. It was a shame that we were taken to eg. St Paul’s cathedral and couldn’t get inside due to the 6pm mass. Timing of tour should be better. Or leave it out. Listening to the tour guides own mother’s experience of how being ruled under communism affected her daily life was fascinating. I much prefer to hear this type of information as I probably wouldn’t find this on the internet or in a book.

Tour guide was very informative. I can't remember his name but he did the 15:30 tour on Friday 16th Jan. He showed us around and we went to parts of Tirana I wouldn't of seen without him so well done.

Would very much recommend!! Markel was our guide and was excellent, he was very friendly and informative. The food was very tasty and i had a lovely time walking around the city.
