Just 13 km from Santa Marta, a 50-minute drive will take you to Minca, the ecological capital of the Sierra.
Nevada de Santa Marta is a magical place, surrounded by lots of nature, reaching a height of 600 meters above sea level in its urban center. In other distant sectors, such as Cerro Kennedy, it reaches heights of 2,800 meters.
We'll start a walk of about 20 minutes until we reach the Marinka waterfalls, each 30 meters high, where you can enjoy a swim in the waters of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
We'll continue the tour in a 4x4 van along ecological trails, tropical rainforest, and open terrain (trail) until we reach the Sierra Minca hostel at about 1,000 meters high with panoramic viewpoints of Santa Marta, ideal for photos and videos. You can enjoy a delicious lunch at the hostel, then head back along the same route.
