We did this tour with our 7 month old and the guides were great! The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a great snorkelling experience.

Andreas was full of information about all of the stops on this tour. He was able to answer all of our (and the others guests) questions. He brought us to a beautiful picture point to see islet vila do campo and at the end brought us to the top of the volcanic crater (about 2000 meters up). This allowed us to see all of the Furnas (including the church that we stopped at earlier that day) in a whole new way. He was very very articulate with explaining the process for both the tea and the pineapple plantations. This tour was a good balance (about 50/50) of structured group time and independent time to explore the stops.

We had a fantastic trip round the island as a family of 5 (with 3 children). We got the tour to ourselves and it was excellent. Our guide, Pedro was really knowledgeable and made the experience really memorable. The boat captain, Dominic was excellent at navigating all the tricky rocks and choppy waves. The boat felt safe and we saw some unforgettable sites. Well worth it!

I was lucky enough to see a blue whale, orcas, and common dolphins. An unforgettable sight! The guides were really friendly.

We took the tour by inflatable boat. It might not be for everyone, but it allowed us to get very close to the animals. We were able to borrow binoculars and saw many birds and even a few dolphins. Bird expert Alexandra was very knowledgeable and told us a lot. Since there was only one other couple besides us, we were able to ask many questions and also enjoy some quiet moments with the animals. We had a great time on the tour, thanks in part to the enthusiastic crew.


