Reviews: New Zealand Lake Tekapo 90-minute Chameleon Stargazing Tour for 14 People with Professional Telescope

It was a fantastic experience. The teacher's explanations were very engaging, and I learned a lot. I learned how to identify the Southern Cross, Alpha Beta Centauri, and that the brightest star is Sirius. Gazing at the starry sky and listening to the explanations, and afterwards enjoying hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows, plus a group photo under the stars, it was all unforgettable.
Reviews: From Christchurch: Queenstown via Tekapo & Mt Cook Day Trip

Our family of 4 had Diana and Joe as our guides. Diana picked us up in CHC and narrated the history of the sights we visited as she drove the van down to Mt Cooke. Very informative! We were going on to Queenstown so we switched to Joe's van, who was also very helpful and friendly. It was stress-free travel with everything taken care of, including bathroom breaks, prearranged lunch and snacks/water. Highly recommend!

Joe and Jay were fantastic drivers and very helpful along the way. They were very patient with the diverse group of travelers who were always late or had some issue. Very kind of them. I mainly booked this as a transport from Quernstown to Christchurch so it definitely met the mark, the whole “Mount Cook” visit is a bit confusing. You just roll up to this place and then they say “OK you can go hike for 3 hours and meet back here.” It was raining and I wasn’t hiking anywhere but the cafe at the hotel was nice. Unfortunately weather didn’t allow for any helicopter rides which I planned to do. Overall good trip.
Reviews: Tekapo Shuttle: Mt Cook Day Tour via Pukaki & Tasman Lake

A really enjoyable day! We visited a couple of lookout points and the Mount Cook visitor centre on the way to Tasman Valley where we had enough time to visit the Tasman Glacier View, the Blue Lakes and the Tasman River. We then went to the Hooker Valley trail and were able to do another walk of choice before being picked up and heading back to Tekapo (where we stopped at a lavender farm and a salmon shop on the way). There were 15 of us and the group was a mix of solo travellers and pairs/groups. Felt like the right amount of time at each place.
