Very grateful to Mr Wang with license plate number RM2509 for arranging the tour for us. Pickup time at every tour location is very accurate. Mr Wang will give us a pin location so that we can easily navigate our way back to the pick up point because a lot of places in the itinerary aren't very accessible by public car. Also, the places in the itinerary requires A LOT of walking and stairs climbing especially the temple and songzanlin monastery. So, if you planned to climb Jade Dragon Snow Mountain first, give it a couple days of resting before going to Shangri-La because your legs is going to be ON FIRE from all the stairs climbing. Mr Wang provided 1 portable oxygen can for each person, I'd recommend to get 1 or 2 more extra before departure to Shangri-La because the air is thin. Don't even think about speed walking because you're going to ran out of breath after 10 steps. Wear full waterproof clothing or raincoat to TLG because the raging gorge might splash you like i did.

A very experienced driver cum tour guide was assign to us. Experience in driving Yunan road. Do note where the final drop-off location is and insist you want to be drop off at the right gate stated , or else you might be at the wrong gate.

Today's trip was handled by Mr. Li, license plate number Yun R68799. He was a very nice driver. He chatted with us about local customs and culture along the way. His driving skills were also very steady. The entire itinerary was exactly as ordered. Tiger Leaping Gorge is very photogenic and beautiful, but it was a bit windy and cold, so we wore more layers. It only got warmer around noon. We also had a Tusi Banquet for lunch. It was a buffet hot pot, and we were full. There was even a small performance during the banquet.

Our family of four used this tour, and it was great to be able to comfortably visit Songzanlin Monastery, Napa Lake, and Dukezhong Ancient City all in one day. The scenery of the vast wetlands and grasslands at Napa Lake was particularly impressive, and since it was a private vehicle, we were able to look around at our desired spots at a relatively leisurely pace. Since the tourist attractions in Shangri-La are spread out, I recommend using a private vehicle tour like this for a family trip.

We had such a wonderful day visiting Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge, enjoying ******* yak hotpot, and exploring Songzanlin Monastery and Dukezong Ancient Town. It was a lovely combination of beautiful scenery, ******* culture, local food, and time spent together. We are very grateful to everyone who helped make the experience so enjoyable and comfortable. One thing we especially appreciated was the vehicle. It was large, spacious, and very comfortable, which made a real difference on a day with several places to visit. Having enough room to sit comfortably and relax between stops helped us enjoy the entire journey. The time spent traveling was a pleasant part of the day, and we appreciated the comfort throughout the tour. Our guide deserves a special thank-you.
