Oia

Oia is located on the northern cape of Santorini, built along the cliffs, with white-walled, blue-domed houses and churches layered along the inner cliffs of the caldera. Sunset is the most iconic view here. Each evening, visitors follow the main path to the town's western end. The west end has two main free viewing spots: one is a seaside platform beside the castle ruins, where the remaining stone tower walls hang on the cliff edge, offering expansive views, and the other is a small square below the windmills, where several traditional windmills are silhouetted against the sunset. You can also book a cliffside restaurant in advance and dine while watching the sun sink below the horizon. The town is also worth exploring slowly during the day. Walking the cliff path through narrow white alleys, you will pass several blue-domed churches, and the three connected blue-domed churches make the classic postcard scene. A few old windmills stand at the town's northern end, another iconic view. At night, shops along the stone alleys mostly stay open late, and bars gradually become lively. If you have time, choose a seafront cave house for a night, and when you open the window you will see the sea toward the caldera.Greece · Santorini

Three Bells of Firais one of Santorini, Greece's most iconic landmarks, attracting many visitors. The whitewashed walls, vivid blue dome, and the deep blue Aegean Sea complement each other, creating a highly recognizable Mediterranean scene. Its clean architectural lines blend with the vast sea and sky, showcasing the pure beauty of traditional Greek architecture and conveying the island's calm and romantic atmosphere. The church is small in scale, but its delicate form and unique location make it especially eye-catching. The white buildings are terraced into the hillside, and the blue dome looks especially bright in the sunlight. The adjacent bell tower and the layered whitewashed houses together form an elegant composition. Below the church are steep cliffs, and beyond them lies the deep caldera bay. Red beach is located on the southwestern tip of Santorini, Greece, adjacent to the Akrotiri Archaeological Site. Unlike the common black volcanic beaches in Santorini, this beach is famous for its rust-red cliffs, deep red gravel, and clear, turquoise water. The striking color contrast makes it a classic scene in many travelers' photos. This beach is hidden in a small bay, backed by undulating volcanic rock cliffs that display various shades of rust red, dark red, and brownish red. The sand and stones underfoot are deep in color, while the water in the distance transitions from light turquoise to deep blue. The red cliffs and the blue sea complement each other, creating a strong and unique visual effect. Standing near the bay and looking out, it feels as if you are in a natural painting created by the volcano and the ocean.Greece · Santorini

View of Alefkandra (Little Venice)is located on the waterfront of Mykonos Town on the island of Mykonos, Greece, and is one of the island's iconic sights. There is no wide coastal boulevard here, but rather a row of ancient mansions clinging to the sea. Colorful walls, white exteriors, wooden galleries, and seaside balconies together form a unique coastal view. Red, blue, and ochre window frames dot the pristine white walls, while wooden balconies hang over the sea, swaying gently in the sea breeze and exuding a leisurely and romantic atmosphere. Walking into the neighborhood, narrow, winding cobblestone alleys stretch between the white houses. Turning a corner, you can often encounter a brightly colored window, a quiet little courtyard, or a hidden corner with a view of the blue sea.Greece · Mykonos

Chaniais located on the northwest coast of Crete, Greece, and is an ancient port city that blends the imprints of various civilizations. The charming view here is the colorful Venetian Old Harbor. Stroll slowly along the waterfront to see ancient stone buildings surrounding the harbor, with restaurants and cafes built along the water, while the lighthouse in the distance stands quietly, serving as an iconic landmark of the city. In the early morning, the sea shimmers under the soft sunlight; at dusk, the setting sun dyes the sky and sea in golden orange, and the silhouettes of the lighthouse and mosque are reflected in the water, creating a tranquil and romantic scene. Ancient Venetian mansions, brightly colored doors and windows, Ottoman-style wooden balconies, and small shops hidden in street corners all contribute to a unique city view.Greece · Chania

Paradise Beach

112 reviews
Paradise Beachis located on the southern coast of Mykonos, Greece, and is an iconic seaside attraction on the island. It features an open bay, stretches of fine golden sand, and clear azure waters, showcasing typical Aegean coastal scenery. The beach stretches along the coast, with soft sand glowing warmly in the sunlight, while the water transitions from a shallow cyan near the shore to a deep, clear blue, offering a refreshing and relaxing experience. Because the bay faces south, its topography is relatively sheltered from the strong winds that prevail in summer. Even when it is windy elsewhere on the island, the sea here can sometimes remain relatively calm, making it suitable for swimming, sunbathing, and seaside relaxation. Strolling along the beach, you can see several beach clubs distributed in different areas, with parasols, sun loungers, and seaside lounge areas dotting the golden sand. During the day, visitors can lie on the beach to enjoy the sun or step into the cool water to admire the vast horizon in the distance.Greece · Mykonos

As evening falls in Santorini, tourists have already found their vantage points, sitting or standing quietly, waiting. The once bustling paths gradually empty out, the crowds converging on the cliff edge, becoming the first fixed scene before sunset. Standing on the steps of the blue and white houses, watching the sunset transform the sky from orange-pink to golden-red, then slowly into a golden hue, the town itself seems draped in a golden veil, so beautiful it makes you forget everything. Finally, the entire sunset glow sinks into the Aegean Sea, even the surface is covered with shimmering gold, the wind carries the light scent of sea salt and olive trees, there is no noise, only the sound of the waves lapping the shore, slowing down along with the light and shadow.

If Santorini is a business card of Greece, then the blue-domed church should be the business card of Santorini, because at some point it was on the cover of National Geographic Magazine, and thus became a globally known attraction. What’s more coincidental is that this attraction is so simple and straightforward that it’s almost otherworldly. You don’t need high-level photography skills or think about angles. Just the “click” at the entrance is the undisputed best of the day.

There is also a cliff hotel view, but the view is worse than that of Oia town. There are many small shops and a strong commercial atmosphere. The roads are very narrow. If you encounter cruise ship passengers, you have to queue when walking.

The red of nature differs from the imagined vibrant red, but the red from this volcanic eruption is still breathtaking. The journey from the parking lot to the red beach is a bit challenging, about a 10-minute hike up a mountain path or where there's no path at all. Those who enjoy a challenge will appreciate it, marveling at the wonders of nature. I'm grateful for my taxi driver's patient service; as a local, he could tell many local stories, and his price was reasonable. At my request, we even stopped along the way to photograph the grapevine basket—a unique way of wintering grapevines in Santorini. You can contact him if you need a ride.

I didn't expect there is such a place in the city center. The transportation here is also very easy. It is really beautiful here, completely different from the hustle and bustle downstairs. I really like the scenery here, which is very Greek in style.

A very niche place for vacation, where you can see a lot of nice and fun things. It is also a very important tourist area, and many open-air shops are beautifully laid out.

If you're young, that beach is a must-visit on Mykonos. You can eat, drink, and have fun in a beautiful environment, carefree as a group of young people party, with the waves crashing around you to your rhythm. That's the scene I witnessed.
