Trip.com eSIM Review – UAE Trip
I also used the Trip.com eSIM during my trip to the UAE and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I activated the eSIM before boarding in London, and the moment I landed in Dubai it connected instantly—no queues at the airport or dealing with paperwork for a local SIM.
The coverage across the UAE was very strong. I used it in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, and the speeds were fast enough for navigation, ride-hailing apps, video calls, and streaming. Google Maps worked perfectly while exploring the city, and I could easily stay in touch with family on WhatsApp without any lag.
What I appreciated most was the convenience—my UK number remained active while I used the data plan for everything else. The pricing on Trip.com was competitive compared to airport counters, and managing the plan through the app was simple and clear.

Great connection, worked everywhere, and was fast. We got 10GB for a week, and it was a bit short. It also worked, sharing Wi-Fi from my phone. I'm happy with the eSIM and plan to use it in the future. The price of 700₽ for a week is a gift!!!★

I tried an eSIM card for the first time and was amazed at how easy it was to get one. I specifically bought the extended country package because I was on a Persian Gulf cruise. I had no issues anywhere, and the connection was excellent everywhere. I had plenty of data and speed. I'm sure I'll always take an eSIM card with me when I travel, and I'll probably get one from trip.com, because first impressions last forever :)★
