Coach was on time and very comfortable, good seats and air conditioned. Toilet on board. Stuart our driver was very friendly and explained the timing schedule clearly ie where we were stopping and for how long etc. Driver gave an informative commentary of the Northern Territory desert landscape, native fauna and flora and cultural history which was interesting but also would have been nice to have some quiet time, to nap, read or just. relax and look out the window ..

I loved Simpsons' Gap and Stanley's Chasm. They were magnificent. The Telegraph station was good. My issue was that there was a lot of information about the settler history about the area but the Indigenous people of the area weren't even a foot note. Given that the tour is of 2 natural areas - one that has an Indigenous name that we were never told - and 1 historical area - it would be great to hear about what the land means to persons who were there long before the telegraph station made that area interesting to colonial settlers. My guide was very friendly and pleasant, however I found that he was blasé when talking about 'the Stolen Generation' which was one of the few references he made to the Aboriginal people. I was very disappointed that the tour wasn't more well rounded.
