The air in Quyang is absolutely terrible, incredibly polluted, but the Beiyue Temple, shrouded in Taoist magic, is refreshingly clean! The main attraction is the Yuan Dynasty main hall and its east and west walls' murals, traditionally attributed to Wu Daozi, but this doesn't stand up to scrutiny; they're likely Yuan-Song Dynasty works, though still well worth seeing! The surrounding stele corridors also offer many surprises, worth examining closely. However, avoid the sections covered by glass; they're crude modern imitations, practically toxic to the eyes! Overall, a great experience!

Amazing day, we loved every part of the trip. Our guide Tracy was fantastic. She knowledgeable, answered everyone’s questions, and was funny too. Linda our driver did a great job, and the coach itself was very comfortable. We would highly recommend!

Our guide Salome is very knowledgeable about fjords as well as Norwegian history and culture. Listening to her fun stories while enjoying the changing views throughout different altitudes (especially in autumn, with all sorts of colors ;)) was absolutely amazing experience. The driver and Salome were also very kind to have offered me a ride back to Gudvangen after the tour. Would highly recommend the tour!
