Reviews: Bali Kuta Beach Surfing Lesson by 27 Surf School
Guest User2026-05-15
For my first surfing experience, I chose 27 Surf based on a friend's recommendation. It's located right on Kuta Beach and easy to find. The 90-minute lesson was packed with useful information. First, we learned how to get on the surfer on shore, and then a one-on-one instructor took us into the water to start surfing. After a few tries, I was able to stand up. The instructor checked my posture and helped me adjust, constantly encouraging me. It was so much fun! I plan to come back tomorrow. The fee includes photos; staff on shore take photos with telephoto lenses. Video recording is available for 10,000 per person, which is also a good deal.
Reviews: Manta Point Snorkeling 2 spot in Nusa Penida with GoPro
Guest User2026-06-05
Everything was well-organized; all the tour companies essentially sell tickets to the same company. It's easy to find; the location is marked on Google Maps. We didn't see any manta rays; the waves were very big, even though the weather was great; it felt like a roller coaster ride. At Manta Point, the manta rays didn't surface, apparently due to the rough seas. Eventually, we were taken to a coral reef near the port, where we had a great 20-minute snorkeling session and saw a couple of turtles. The trip to Manta Point itself is interesting; you can see Crystal Bay, Clinking Beach, and Broken Beach from the water. If you get seasick, be sure to take Dramamine or feed the fish.
