We set off early in the morning. The itinerary was quite packed; most of the sights were shown on the bus, with the driver providing commentary throughout. The tour ended with a boat trip back.

Richie was great!! Richie’s knowledge of Scottish history was very impressive. There was myself and my husband and another couple on the tour, it felt like we were out for the day with friends.

The guided tour with Alex to Balmoral Estate and Royal Deeside was very nice. ;-) Alex was such a nice guide, communicative and open to questions. We visited the Balmoral; however, it was closed at that time, so we also visited Castle Crathes instead, and a couple of other interesting places, for example, Ballater, where Queen Victoria also travelled through. The tour was well worth it. So, I can only recommend Alex and the tour, either (of course, a visit to Balmoral would make it all even a bit more exciting).

a great trip despite the rainy weather, beautiful places, Darryl as a guide - great, he told interesting facts about the places we visited, took care of our comfort during the trip, intertwined the stories with Scottish music.
