Host is absolutely outstanding, knowledgeable on local area, history and went above and beyond for us. True Cambodia experience. Local to Battambang and knows the area well. Highlight is Bat cave and temple, killing cave on mountain. Well organised, 5* guide and would highly recommend for both price and experience throughout.

Fantastic afternoon. The bamboo railway was exhilarating, The Killing Caves were educational and so peaceful when you consider their past. And the Bat Cave was phenomenal.

I had a wonderful day exploring Battambang with Sambol. From the start, he was genuine, knowledgeable, and full of passion and energy. The tour was perfectly planned — we visited local workshops and beautiful countryside. The bamboo train ride was great fun, and the Killing Caves were deeply moving. Sambol shared fascinating insights into Cambodia’s past and present, making every stop meaningful. His authenticity and enthusiasm made the day truly special — it felt like exploring Battambang with a local who loves and understands his country deeply. I can highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the real Cambodia.

Samol was the best guide, he was the best all along ! He explained all the history of every places we visited with a perfect english ! He always smile 🥹 We were on the tour the day of the bombing and he really made sure we were safe and having a good time. We recommend him 300000% Pray for peace for the beautiful soul we got to meet all along our trip🙏🏼🤍

Had a great day with Samol and glad I did the full day tour! Started with lots of interesting visits to learn more about local life and see many rice based products made - rice noodles, rice paper, bamboo sticky rice and rice wine! Lots of little treats along the way and got to try it all! We went to a few local temples and he did a great job of explaining the history and cultural traditions, also answered my many questions!!! The afternoon included more history and stops to try rats, ride on the bamboo train and then a visit to the mountains to learn more about the people and history, see some monkeys and then watched the bats fly out of the cave. An overall great day that made me feel like I got a good taste of history, food, and culture!!! Perfect day in Battambang ❤️ would highly recommend this tour.

We booked a private tour of Battambang area with Pao. Pao is an excellent guide and is also very friendly and smiley. He is as knowledgeable about the history and traditions of his country as he is about the countryside and its products of the Battambang region. To us, it was the best programme that not only dedicates time to key sites from the dark era of the Khmer rouges but also enables you to enjoy what Battambang area is famous for: its food! You have the opportunity to try many things on this tour. Pao is so passionate about his region that it was particularly great to learn from someone like him. He is very caring and has strong sense of service. He is not just dropping you at each activity, he actually comes with you and shares a lot every time. His English is great and it was easy to communicate. Pao is also a safe driver which is important too! The 10 hours went quickly, we were not bored nor rushed, the perfect timing to discover Battambang area. Or kun tom tom Pao!
