We went with guide Katya. Russian isn't her native language. A very dynamic tour. We were there in August, and it was very hot. Bring plenty of water. The climb up the wall to Tower 24 is for athletic people. You can climb the wall two ways: by cable car, with eight people or two people in groups. If you go in pairs, the line is much longer. We descended the wall early, and the guide put us on a bus to the metro with another group.

Everything was perfect, except for the weather. When we were already on the wall, it started raining and hailing, and we had to wait it out in one of the towers. We went up on the cable car and had to take it back down. The views were superb, the guide was excellent, and she arranged and arranged everything herself.

We booked a private car for the day to the great wall Mutianyu and it was the best choice ever. They helped us with the ticket as well and with the timing that was perfect. In 2 Hours from Beijing we were already at the cable car and had planty of time to walk on the wall before to heading back around 2pm. Mo our driver was really nice and flexible with our request to stop by The Olympic stadium on our way back. We highly recommend to book with them.
