The 45-minute snowfall was a fantastic experience. Actually, you don't need to arrive 30 minutes early; arriving a little late is fine too, as there's a queue to register and weigh you, and by the time you get to your turn, it's almost time to go. The pilots can get close to the mountain for a close-up view of the glacier. The snow on the mountain is very soft after being warmed by the sun, so you need to wear waterproof shoes. My regular sneakers were completely soaked after just 10 minutes of taking photos. It wasn't cold at all on the mountain; with the sunshine, it was similar to down below, so you didn't need a down jacket.

It was a fantastic English-language day tour with friends from all over the world on board. The drivers were from Nepal, the US, and New Zealand. They were very friendly and professional. The journey was quite tiring, but Ye kept chatting with us, making us feel less lonely. Although the itinerary was rushed, it was still very fulfilling, and we visited all the places we wanted to see.

Icebergs, pure clean lakes, freezing wild winds and getting wet as we traipsed to Tasman glacier. They provided poncho and umbrella and great commentary!

What a fantastic tour! So worth doing to see some incredible mountains. Our guide TJ was amazing, he looked after the group so well and had great knowledge of the area and its history. TJ also prepared so many thoughtful touches to ensure we were all comfortable and made the most of the day, like refreshments, hiking poles and texting us when mount cook appeared during our hike.

Highly recommended. Our driver Nick is nice and has passion for introducing the lakes and mountains. The hiking is easy to handle even for a senior lady. The lunch bag is amazing, the bakery that Nick went pick up before the trip is delicious and fresh. The sightseeing is memorable and the trip is comfy.


